How can I help my baby sleep?

my 4 mth old wakes up at 5 so i give him a bottle and then its a 3 hour journey to get him to sleep he fights me and wont take his pacifier ive given him gas drops and orajel for teething since hes got about 2 coming in already but its like no matter what i do he's going crazy. He takes about 3 30 mins naps a day he just cant seem to get in a deep sleep
