Why do so many doctors discredit fever as a symptom of teething?

Teething causes inflamation.. inflamation anywhere in the body can cause fevers.. i dont know why doctors dismiss it, probably because its not in a text book therefore they cant tell you its true.. not all doctors are so narrow minded.. just most of them! most will also tell you that Baltic amber teething necklaces dont work, but mothers themselves will tell you that on most children they do provide some relief.. Parents know their children best, end of story.. so if you have a gut feeling about something go with it, regardless of what a doctor tell you.. you know your child, they dont.
