How do i train my kitten to stop biting?

He's a lone kitten and bites for fun. I thought he would grow out of it when he was teething, but he still bites and he's getting more vicious. He's a little over 3 months now, and he terrorizes his mother, an adult male cat and myself with his unwanted rough play with sharp teeth. Im concerned because earlier he was playing with his mom, she screamed, and when i took a look, Cuddles (kitten) had a chunk of mom's coat in his teeth.
